Field defence of Spain’s Civil War
The machine-gun nest at balmins beach and the coast battery
A small fortified structure as anti-invasion defence. Popularly known in the Uk, as pillboxes, by reference to their shape.
AÂ concrete dug-in guard post, equipped with loopholes through which to fire weapons. AÂ trench firing step hardened to protect against small-arms fire and grenades and raised to improve the field of fire.
Another stood on the the promenade beach towards Terramar Hotel
(please don/t enter : as it’s smelly & dangerous)
