The film, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, reviews the history of Margaret Thatcher, a woman who broke the barriers of gender and class. Meryl Streep draws perfectly intimate portrait of a character. Whilst many Brits may disagree with the rosy portrayal of this Prime Minister, the film was nominated for a Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards as Best Actress.
